In a recent turn of events, WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler has issued a strong warning to her Pure Fusion Collective teammate, Zoey Stark, as they prepare for the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW. The heel faction is currently embroiled in a heated rivalry with Zelina Vega, Lyra Valkyria, and the recently returned Natalya. Natalya‘s return as the surprise partner for Vega and Valkyria two weeks ago helped them secure a victory against PFC.
Last week, Baszler faced Stark in a singles match, emerging victorious despite interference from other faction members. Tensions are rising within the team, making the upcoming RAW even more interesting.

Let’s take a look at Shayna Baszler’s warning to her teammate Zoey Stark

WWE Star Shayna Baszler took to her social media account on “X” (formerly Twitter) to share her support for the Minnesota Vikings in their NFL game against the Houston Texans. Zoey Stark replied to Baszler’s post, expressing her hope that the Vikings would lose.
Shayna Baszler playfully continued the exchange by warning her stablemate that she wouldn’t be there to help Stark if she needed assistance on RAW this week.
Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark teamed up to beat Natalya and Tegan Nox. Since then, they have joined forces with Sonya Deville to create a new group called the Pure Fusion Collective.
In a recent interview with WrestleZone, Shayna talked about her relationship with Stark. She mentioned that what impressed her the most was Stark’s ability to get back up after every hit and her determination to never give up.
Shayna Baszler Stated :
“Zoey impressed me because I beat the snot out of her, and she kept getting back up. She would not quit, and that impressed me, so I decided — I don’t know how it started. I think I saw something happening, and I gave her some advice [on] how to handle it backstage. And when she is not being an annoying […] rookie, she’s great. I think we complement each other well in the ring. She does all the cool flying off of stuff, and I’ll tear people’s limbs off, so it balances out,” (Via WrestleZone/Sportskeeda)

Shayna Baszler is very impressed with Zoey Stark and has praised her toughness and wrestling skills. Both Shayna and Zoey share a strong bond. The Pure Fusion faction has not achieved the expected success, so it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for them next.

Solo Sikoa was just given another chance to go up against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. But before this match was made public, Rhodes had first offered Sikoa’s Bloodline cousin Jacob Fatu the chance to win the title. In the end, Fatu made the decision to turn down the tempting offer. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi stated that he thought it was premature to have his nephew take on Rhodes in this particular situation.

“I think Jacob is being pushed too fast,” Rikishi stated during an episode of the “Off The Top” podcast. He elaborated, “When you go to Cody, where do you go from there? Cody is the guy right now.” Rikishi has previously emphasized the importance of allowing Fatu to develop more before stepping into the spotlight. He suggested, “I’ve said this before, let Jacob rampage through the whole roster. Give him a couple of those enhancement matches to build. He don’t need but three minutes.”
Rikishi pointed out that, although Fatu has been in action for a couple of months, there hasn’t been significant growth or change in his presentation. “Again, we’ve seen Jacob however long he’s been on, a couple months or whatever, but is there anything different? You can only do so much on a run-in. This is what I’m saying. You really want to go with a guy? Show his talent, let him have not a match-match, [but] a squash match just so he can show his potential of what else this kid can do.”

Moreover, Rikishi insisted, “I wouldn’t feed Jacob to Cody. That match is not deserving yet to happen.” He feels that Fatu should be given the time to fully establish himself before taking on top-tier talent like Rhodes.
Following Fatu’s rejection of Rhodes’ offer for a title match, Solo Sikoa stepped in to challenge for the championship on the September 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. After Rhodes successfully defended his title, the Bloodline retaliated with a vicious attack. Fortunately for Rhodes, he received timely assistance from a returning Roman Reigns, who helped fend off the assault. Looking ahead, Rhodes and Reigns are set to team up against Fatu and Sikoa in a highly anticipated tag team match at WWE Bad Blood.

After the heinous crime at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital where a young lady doctor (PGT) was raped and murdered on August 9, Bengal came out on the street demanding justice for the victim and her family, and raising its voice for safety and security for women, queer, non-binary and trans-folks at all places. What started as a movement of doctors demanding justice from the RG Kar rape-murder victim and her family turned into a mass movement, and the Bengali entertainment industry stood in solidarity.Artists and technicians from the film and television fraternity have started to come out with their share of various encounters of harrowing stories as well. A well-known hairdresser from Tollywood recently set herself on fire in an attempted suicide after being deprived of work for several months. The hairdresser was saved by her daughter and has sustained a number of serious burn injuries. Directors’ Association of Eastern India has issued a statement after this horrifying incident.
Through its statement, DAEI has demanded safety of artists and technicians in the workplace, as well as argued for the removal of the people who were responsible for the hairdressers’ harassment. The statement issued by DAEI said, “A fellow hairstylist of ours tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on herself because she raised some questions about the democratic procedure of the federation (FCTWEI) and her guild Cine and Video Hair Stylist Association, which is part of the federation. She was suspended from work for two and a half months. As her ex-husband is sick, she had to take the entire responsibility of her family. She worked tirelessly to put her daughter through college. The suspension left the family in debt. She and her family faced a dire financial crisis. When her suspension period was over, then came the final blow.” The statement went on, “The guild told her that she could work, but she could only join the work they cleared her for. They asked her not to take work on her own accord. And if any critical comments or discussions about the Federation’s procedures or the Guild’s rules were followed, more severe action would be taken.” The statement of DAEI went on to narrate more harrowing examples of the guild and federations’ deeds and how they made the artists and technicians’ live extremely stressful and living hell.
The DAEI stated, “We are appealing to all colleagues, you who belong to any guild, any organization whatsoever, to come join us to stand against this evil violence. If we don’t stand today, we will never be able to stand in future. Time has come to recognize the true nature of the people involved in this illegal activity under the guise of benevolent technicians.” DAEI concluded their statement, writing, “We want the removal of those who made this decision. We want all illegal rules to be abolished. We want our workplace to be fearless. Be free of bias, end Tughlaki rule. All guidelines should be discussed and restructured in a truly democratic manner. Let the welfare and environment of film and television workers be protected through their own workers, on a transparent legal basis, looking after the interests of all.”
The hairdresser, who attempted suicide wrote in an alleged suicide note, “I was suspended for three months from May 1 but even then, I was not allowed to work properly. I could not fulfill my family responsibilities properly, so I am forced to commit suicide. Committee members of my guild are responsible for this.” The hairdresser added, “I was denied one job after another. I was set to work for Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming film but the production manager informed me that the guild had instructed them not to give me the assignment.”
The victim was saved by the doctors but has sustained some serious burn injuries. She has been discharged from the hospital and is now under recovery.

PUNE: On Sunday night, Ashok Majethia, a Pune resident was on his way from Pulgate to his home in Karvenagar when he met with an unfortunate accident.
Majethia’s SUV drove over the divider right outside the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) office on Shankatsheth road which is half demolished while the remaining part of the divider does not have any reflectors or warning signs.The poor street lights made it even more difficult to see the divider.
Just like him in the past, many accidents have taken place in the same spot, said locals who helped Majethia get his car down.
Earlier, TOI had highlighted the issue of poor dividers and road signages on the same road causing accidents, following which the authorities took temporary measures like painting reflectors or putting up barricades. However, these measures faded over time and the barricades have also been removed.
Majethia said, “I was on my way home when suddenly the car rammed into the divider as I was trying to avoid a bus which was overtaking me from the left to get to the bus stop on the other end, and so I could not see the divider on the right side. The divider was half broken and ascending in height, which is when the car got stuck. There were no reflectors or warning signs, and there was heavy traffic. The locals helped me get the car down and also told me that this has become an accident-prone zone.”
Ravi Khothe, a local resident who helped Majethia, said, “This has become a high accident zone, and we see such minor and major accidents almost on a regular basis. Two-wheelers are often seen bumping against the divider, and four-wheelers get stuck. Fortunately, the driver did not get any serious injuries, but the administration needs to take immediate action.”
Although this particular stretch of road belongs to the PWD, in a GR issued by the govt in November 2017, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) was handed over the responsibility to maintain and repair this road along with 11 other such roads that belong to PWD and run through Pune district.
Aniruddha Pawaskar, Chief Engineer, Roads Department, PMC, said, “I will ask my engineer to visit the site and inspect it, and we will do the needful.”

VARANASI: A two-day conference on ‘Ved Vijnana Vimarsh (VVV-2024)’ concluded at IIT (BHU) Varanasi on Sunday. On the concluding day, two plenary talks were delivered.
Prof. V.R. Desai, Director, IIT Dharwad, delivered the first plenary talk on “Plants (Vraksha), stars (Nakshatra) for ensuring climate resilience through voluntary afforestation”.
He discussed water management and said that water is life.He mentioned that for ensuring sustainable water resources management, integrated watershed management (IWM) and resource conservation are essential.
He also discussed the various components of IWM, which include mainly soil conservation, water conservation, and vegetation conservation.
He emphasised the role of vegetation/forests in ensuring IWM and in maintaining ecological balance. A continuous decrease in vegetation cover (due to deforestation etc.) results in the loss of animal habitat over the past several decades.
The second plenary talk was delivered by Anoop Kumar, who discussed Bhartiya Jurisprudence, detailed concepts of Dharma, and emphasised the difference between dharma and other similar concepts like beauty and ethics.
He also pointed out the views of dharma to see things in totality, encompassing many gradients of life in an integrated way.
A session on Science, Engineering and Technology was addressed by Prof. Sonu Ram Shankar from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, Dr. Lakshmanan Kailasam, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, and Dr. Madhusudan Mishra, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi. The session was chaired by Prof. R. K. Mishra of IIT (BHU).
The second session on Law, Political, Economic and Strategic Sciences, chaired by Prof. Vijay Shankar Shukla, Visiting Professor, Bharat Adhyayan Kendra, BHU, was addressed by Prof. T. P. Singh from the Department of Political Science, BHU, R. K. Singh from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU, and Abhijit Dixit, Regional Director, Regional Centre, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Varanasi.
The concluding day also witnessed a panel discussion, which was moderated by Pavan Kumar Aluri of IIT (BHU). The panellists included Prof. Venkappayya R. Desai, Director, IIT Dharwad, Abhijit Dixit, Regional Director, Regional Centre, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Varanasi, Prof. Brajakishore Swain, Visiting Professor, Bharata Adhyayan Kendra, BHU, and Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Dean of Students’ Affairs, IIT (BHU). In this event, a discussion was held about whether there is friction between religion and critical thinking. It was established that the Indian Knowledge system observes truth in a scientific way and the approach is integrated, not fragmented. Hence, this question does not arise in the psyche of the Indian way of thinking.
The valedictory ceremony started with the felicitation of all dignitaries on the dais, followed by the prize distribution to the poster presenters. A brief report of the conference was presented by the convener, Prof. Rajesh Kumar.
