Intuitive: Water signs are often in tune with their emotions and the emotions of others, making them compassionate friends.

Social: They often have a wide circle of friends and enjoy engaging in discussions and debates.

Interplay of Elements
While each element shapes its respective signs in unique ways, it’s essential to consider how they interact. Individuals are rarely defined by a single element; their complete astrological profile—rising signs, moon signs, and planetary placements—adds layers of complexity. For instance, a person with a predominant Earth influence may also have a significant Fire sign, balancing practicality with ambition and creativity.

Mindless overeating
Together with tea, biscuits trigger an automatic snacking response. Drinking tea is often related to social events or unwinding, and in these occasions the person tends to grab biscuits without attention to the number of biscuits they are consuming. Since the biscuits do not provide long-term satiety, it becomes easy to overconsume the biscuits accompanying additional calories, sugar, and unhealthy fats.

Biscuits contain a lot of refined sugars and carbohydrates that the body easily absorbs, causing the sugar to shoot up in the blood levels. When this high wears out, it calls for a crash, making one feel tired, cranky, and still with the hankering for more sugar. This pattern may manifest into bad eating cycles that make it challenging to stabilise your energy levels or maintain a balanced diet.

Nuts and seeds: There’s no better match for breaking your tea than stuffing in some nuts and seeds, which are chock-full of healthy fats, fibre, and protein.
Fresh fruit: Slice a fresh fruit like an apple, banana, or berries, serving natural sweetness in nutrients but without the added sugar and unhealthy fats that come with biscuits.
ALSO READ: Side effects of eating rusk in the morning
Whole-grain crackers: Use whole-grain crackers instead of biscuits for the provision of fibre and sustained energy.
Homemade snacks: Homemade is the way to go if you love biscuits. Make healthier versions at home, using whole grains, honey, or ghee as natural sweeteners, and healthy fats from coconut oil.

While tea and biscuits are on the list of seemingly less harmful indulgences compared to all the other treats, frequent intake won’t be any good for your health. These can cause blood sugar fluctuations and problems with your digestive system when you take in regularly. Instead, choose healthier snack options together with your tea, such as fresh fruit or nuts, and enjoy your tea while keeping better overall health.

THIS is the worst sleeping position for your health

Sleep is vital for a human being because it is the time when your body repairs itself and gets ready for the daily chores. Best sleeping position to get deep sleep is like a personal preference to everybody. However, they play a major role in making or breaking your health. One such bad position that can have a negative impact on your health is sleeping on your stomach.
Sleeping on your stomach is detrimental to your health, posing significant risks to your overall well-being.This position strains your neck and spine, leading to discomfort, pain, and potential long-term damage. Moreover, stomach sleeping can cause back pain, respiratory issues, and exacerbate digestive problems. The pressure on your stomach can also lead to acid reflux, indigestion, and vomiting.

Dr. Joydeep Ghosh, Consultant, Internal Medicine, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, said “Sleeping on your stomach increases the risk of food regurgitation and aspiration into the lungs, potentially causing pneumonia. Your nose is compressed on the pillow, obstructing breathing and potentially leading to respiratory complications. Additionally, stomach sleeping can contribute to skin issues like wrinkles and fine lines due to facial pressure.

sleep (48)

To mitigate these risks, consider alternative sleeping positions. Sleeping on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your right side with a pillow between your knees can support spinal alignment, reduce pressure on your heart and lungs, and promote comfortable breathing.

To further safeguard your health:
– Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime (wait at least 2-3 hours)
– Use a supportive pillow (firm and thin)

– Maintain a consistent sleep schedule
According to Dr. Sanjoy Sen Gupta, Consultant, Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, “Sleeping positions do matter for people, especially those who are already having certain cardiovascular diseases like heart failure as it may cause discomfort to the concerned person.
The left-side sleeping positions are least recommended for the patients with poor heart health as compared to the right-side. This is because while sleeping on the left-side, the lungs are compressed, decreasing the overall respiratory efficiency. It is also to be noted that for post-sternotomy (OHS) patients, the cardiac surgeons advise patients not to turn aside at least for 3 months as that is the minimum duration for a sternum bone to heal up.”
