‘I’m not upset with Kangana but … ‘: Chirag Paswan as Mandi MP apologises for farm laws remark

'I'm not upset with Kangana but ... ': Chirag Paswan as Mandi MP apologises for farm laws remark

NEW DELHI: As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) distanced itself from Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut over her statement on repealed farm laws, ally Chirag Paswan came out in her defense and said that”she will understand these things soon”.
Talking to reporters, Paswan also said, “I am not upset with Kangana but she isn’t just an artist now but also a member of a political party.I accept the fact that you might have your own personal opinion but when you are part of a political party, it becomes your responsibility to put forward the topics of that party.”
“She is new to politics, she is taking time to understand things but she is intelligent and she will understand these things soon,” Paswan said.

His remarks day after Ranaut released a video backtracking from her earlier demand to bring back the three farm laws repealed in 2021.
Ranaut said her “personal” views do not represent the BJP’s stance on the matter even as the Congress demanded her expulsion from the saffron party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s explanation over the issue.
“In the past few days, media questioned me on farm laws and I suggested that farmers should appeal to the Prime Minister to bring back the farm laws.Due to my statement, a lot of people were upset. When the farmers’ laws were proposed…many people supported it. But with the utmost sensitivity and sympathy…our PM rolled back the laws,” Kangana said in a video she posted on X.
Kangana said it is the “duty of every member (of the BJP) to uphold the dignity of his (PM Modi’s) words”.
“I also need to mindful that I am not a actor but a BJP member and that my opinions shouldn’t be mine but party’s stand. If I have disappointed anyone with my words or opinion, I apologise. I take my words back,” Kangana further said.

Her apoligy came after BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia distanced the party from her comments.
Bhatia said the BJP has not authorised Ranaut to make any such statement and nor does her stand reflect the party’s views.
BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill said Ranaut’s “consistent, baseless and illogical rant” against farmers and Sikh community has a “damaging impact” on all the good work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of “Punjab, punjabi and punjabiyat”.
The prime minister’s bond with the farmers and Punjab cannot be and must not be judged through the lens of one MP’s “irresponsible comments”, Shergill said on X.
The Himachal Pradesh BJP has also distanced itself from Ranaut’s statement.
The Congress also hit out BJP over the issue, with leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi saying PM Modi must clarify whether he is opposed to Ranaut’s comments or “up to some mischief”.
The opposition party said the BJP must expel Ranaut if it does not agree with her statements.
In a video statement, Gandhi said, “Those associated with the BJP keep testing ideas. They ask someone to voice an idea among people and then they see the reaction. This is what has happened. One of their MPs has talked about reviving the three black farm laws. Modiji, you must clarify whether you are against this or you are again up to some mischief.”
“Will the three farm laws be revived or not? If you do so, I guarantee you that the INDIA bloc will together stand against it. Seven hundred people were martyred, they must be remembered and respected,” Rahul said.
“Modiji had not allowed a two-minute silence for them (those who died during the year-long anti-farm laws protest). We will never forget this,” he said.
In a post in Hindi on X along with his video, he asked, “Who is deciding the government’s policy? A BJP MP or Prime Minister Modi?”
“Even after the martyrdom of more than 700 farmers, especially the farmers of Haryana and Punjab, the BJP people are not satisfied. INDIA will not allow any conspiracy of the BJP against our farmers to succeed — if any step is taken to harm the farmers, Modiji will have to apologise again,” he added.
In a post on X, Mallikarjun Kharge said: “Even after the martyrdom of 750 farmers, the anti-farmer BJP and Modi government did not realise their grave crime! There is talk of re-implementation of the three black anti-farmer laws. The Congress Party strongly opposes this.”
The Congress president said the farmers will not forget that their colleagues were crushed under a vehicle and the government used barbed-wire fences, teargas shells from drones, nails and guns to quell their protest against the three contentious laws.
“This time, poll-bound states, including Haryana, will give a befitting reply to insulting remarks, calling farmers ‘andolanjeevi’ and ‘parasites’, hurled by the Prime Minister himself in Parliament,” Kharge said in his post in Hindi.
“Due to Modiji’s statements, his ministers, MPs and propaganda machinery have become habituated to insulting farmers,” he alleged.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs once invited Prince William and Prince Harry to his parties; reveals in resurfaced interview |

Sean 'Diddy' Combs once invited Prince William and Prince Harry to his parties; reveals in resurfaced interview

In a recently resurfaced interview from over a decade ago, rapper and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs disclosed that he once extended party invitations to none other than Prince William and Prince Harry during their younger years. This revelation, shared on the popular British talk show The Graham Norton Show 13 years ago, showcases an unexpected connection between the royal brothers and the legendary rapper.

Diddy’s Party invitation to the Royals

In the interview, Diddy shared a lighthearted conversation with host Graham Norton, who brought up a rumour about the rapper wanting to invite the princes to one of his famous parties.Norton mentioned, “I read that you want to get Prince Harry and Prince William to a Diddy party.” Diddy responded with a laugh, “Not anymore,” but went on to explain the context behind the invitations.
The rapper recalled that during Prince William and Prince Harry’s youth, they were often making headlines for their wild antics. In response, Diddy jokingly offered them an alternative. He said, “Before, when they were young bucks growing up, they were getting in a lot of trouble themselves. So I said, hey, why don’t you come hang out with me?” The idea was to give the young princes a place to unwind away from the spotlight, though it seems they never took him up on the offer.

Prince William and Prince Harry invited to Diddy’s parties

Though Prince William and Prince Harry never officially attended one of Diddy’s infamous parties, images from an event around that time show the two sharing lighter moments with the rapper. One notable photo captures Prince William shaking hands with Diddy, while another shows Prince Harry laughing alongside Diddy and musician Kanye West, highlighting a brief but cordial interaction between British royalty and American music royalty.

Diddy’s interest in meeting Queen Elizabeth II

During the same interview, Diddy also revealed his admiration for British culture and his interest in meeting Queen Elizabeth II. Though he didn’t expect the Queen to attend any of his gatherings, he did express a desire to have a more formal encounter. “I’d like to meet her. She doesn’t have to hang out with me, but I could go over for some tea or something,” he said humorously. Diddy even noted that British culture influenced him to hire a butler, adding a personal connection to his affinity for British traditions.

Recent Legal troubles surrounding Diddy

While the interview showcases a playful side of Diddy, recent developments have cast a darker shadow over his public image. The rapper is currently facing serious allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking, leading to a high-profile investigation. Several individuals have come forward, accusing Diddy of coercing women into inappropriate acts and drug use at his notorious parties. As of now, Diddy remains in custody as he awaits trial, with many closely watching the legal proceedings unfold.

How hot americano, egg and bottle of water cost a woman her job

How hot americano, egg and bottle of water cost a woman her job

A Chinese woman was recently terminated for bizarre reasons. Lou, employed at an educational institution in Shanghai, was recently fired after she refused to comply with her supervisor Liu’s demands to bring her a hot Americano, an egg, and keep a bottle of water available every morning, according to South China Morning Post.
She later took to the social media platform Xiaohongshu, detailing how she was fired without compensation by the human resources department after addressing these unreasonable requests in a work chat group, triggering a widespread outrage.
Lou was later reinstated and her supervisor Liu were fired for misusing her power and pressuring subordinates to assist with personal matters.
Additionally, Wang, the company’s HR head, stated that Lou’s termination was Liu’s decision and did not align with company policy.
The incident shed light on the widespread problem of workplace bullying in China, with related discussions garnering over 2 million views on Weibo. A 2020 survey by Zhilian Zhaopin found that 64% of respondents had experienced workplace bullying, often in the form of forced task completion, verbal abuse, and sexual harassment. More than half of those bullied chose to resign, while 6% used social media to expose the issue.
Chinese law lacks a clear definition of workplace bullying, and penalties vary. Lawyer He Bo advised employees to collect evidence, such as screenshots and recordings, to protect themselves. He said that employees have the right to refuse unreasonable work requests and seek legal counsel if necessary.
“For instance, forcing employees to work overtime violates labour laws, and sexual harassment can result in administrative or criminal liability for the offenders. In combating workplace bullying, employees should gather evidence such as screenshots, audio recordings, and video,” said Bo.

First person died in UK from ‘liquid’ Brazilian butt lift: All you need to know about liquid BBL and risks it poses

First person died in UK from ‘liquid’ Brazilian butt lift: All you need to know about liquid BBL and risks it poses

UK police arrested two suspects after a woman, who went on a non-surgical ‘liquid’ Brazilian butt lift, died, believed to be the first person in Britain to die from this procedure.
Alice Webb, 34, died at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital just before midnight on Monday after falling unwell.
Dane Knight, Alice’s partner, expressed his gratitude on Facebook, saying, ‘Want to say a heart felt thank you to all family and friends that were here for us at our time of need, including all of the kind messages sent to my children and myself.’
He also urged people to be mindful of what they say around his vulnerable children, as he will not tolerate speculation or unnecessary questions directed at the five girls, BBC reported.
According to reports, the victim had undergone a liquid BBL, which involves injecting hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers to enhance the size and shape of the buttocks without surgery or downtime. Save Face, a national register of accredited practitioners, stated that this was the ‘first case of a death caused by a non-surgical BBL in the UK’.
Alice worked as an advanced aesthetic practitioner at Crystal Clear in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. A friend set up a GoFundMe campaign to support her partner and children during this difficult time, describing Alice as ‘beautiful inside and out, with the biggest heart’.
Gloucestershire Police, called by the ambulance service at 11.35pm on Monday, have launched an investigation into the incident. The two individuals arrested have been released on police bail, and the Major Crime Investigation Team is leading the ongoing investigation. Alice’s family is being supported by specially trained officers during this challenging period.
What is liquid BBL?
A liquid BBL is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that aims to enhance the shape and volume of the buttocks using injectable dermal fillers or biostimulatory agents like hyaluronic acid, Sculptra, or Radiesse. This procedure differs from the traditional Brazilian butt lift, which involves fat grafting from other body areas and injecting it into the buttocks. The liquid BBL does not require liposuction or fat transfer, making it less invasive and offering a quicker recovery time compared to surgery.
The effects of a liquid BBL are not permanent, typically lasting between one and two years, depending on the product used and the individual’s metabolism. In contrast, a traditional BBL offers more long-lasting results. Social media often promotes the liquid BBL as a “risk-free” and “cheaper” alternative to surgery.
Reportedly, the procedure takes about 60 minutes and is advertised online for £2,500, while the surgical alternative costs between £5,000 and £6,000 in the UK and takes approximately two hours. Many patients opt to travel to Turkey for a more affordable price.
What are the risks BBL Liquid procedure poses if went wrong?
The process involves significant hazards that may, in theory, lead to potentially fatal outcomes. One of them is the vascular occlusion, which is if a filler is accidentally injected into or near a blood vessel, it can block blood flow, leading to tissue necrosis (death of tissue) or, in rare cases, cause severe complications such as strokes or blindness if blood vessels around vital areas are affected. Poor injection practices or inadequate sterilisation could lead to severe infections, which, if left untreated, could lead to sepsis — a life-threatening systemic infection.”

A video of a school bus driving in the wrong lane in Greater Noida has surfaced online, raising concerns about the students onboard and other commuters.

There have been countless incidents in India where vehicles driving on the wrong side of the road collide with oncoming traffic, often leading to tragic outcomes. One such heartbreaking accident occurred last year on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway when a school bus travelling in the wrong direction crashed into an SUV. The accident claimed the lives of six family members and left two others critically injured. Despite the gut-wrenching consequences of such incidents, many continue this dangerous practice, likely in an attempt to save fuel or time. Recently, a video of a bus driver who routinely drives on the wrong side of a road in Greater Noida has surfaced online. After watching the video, many demanded strict action against the school bus driver.
