It removes dead cells and instantly increases the circulation in the body, improving the overall appearance of your skin. Crush some sugar, mix one tablespoon of coconut oil, apply it over your stretch marks and gently start the exfoliation process. Top it up with a moisturiser and see the results.
Coconut oil and sweet almond
The nutritional oil like coconut and sweet almond oils serve as moisturizers that penetrate deep into our skin and act as a robust skin barrier. The application of both oils together or individually, especially on fresh stretch marks, will make them fade away due course.
Lemon juice

‘Your Country Gets Blown To Smithereens’: Trump Threatens Iran, Accuses It Of Trying To Assassinate Him

Donald Trump said US intel officials debriefed him on threats from Iran to assassinate him.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday said Iran may have been behind recent attempts to assassinate him and suggested that if he were president and another country threatened a US presidential candidate, it risked being “blown to smithereens.”

Trump made his remarks at a campaign event after US intelligence officials briefed him a day earlier on “real and specific threats from Iran to assassinate him,” according to his campaign.

Federal authorities are probing assassination attempts targeting Trump at his Florida golf course in mid-September and at a rally in Pennsylvania in July. There has been no public suggestion by law enforcement agencies of involvement by Iran or any other foreign power in either incident.

“There have been two assassination attempts on my life that we know of, and they may or may not involve, but possibly do, Iran, but I don’t really know,” Trump said at an event at a pipe-fittings plant in Mint Hill, North Carolina.

“We’ve been threatened very directly by Iran, and I think you have to let them know … you do any attacks on former presidents or candidates for president, your country gets blown to smithereens,” he said.

Trump also questioned why Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, who is attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York, is being protected by US law enforcement.

“We have the president of Iran in our country this week, we have large security forces guarding him, and yet they’re threatening our former president and the leading candidate to become the next president — certainly a strange set of circumstances,” said Trump, who faces Democrat Kamala Harris, the current vice president, in the Nov. 5 election.

Trump’s campaign said he would return to Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the first attempt on his life, for a campaign rally at the same venue on Oct. 5.

His stop in North Carolina was Trump’s second visit to the state in less than a week, as polls show the race there to be tight. Harris held rallies in two cities there earlier this month.

Republicans in the state are reeling from the allegations that their candidate for governor, Mark Robinson, a top Trump ally, called himself a “Black NAZI” and proposed reviving slavery in anonymous comments posted on a pornography website.

Robinson has denied the allegations and has said he will remain in the governor’s race, leaving some Republicans to worry that his candidacy could hurt Trump’s chances in the battleground state.

In his remarks on Wednesday, Trump said the FBI has been unable to break into six phones that he said were seized from the man accused of trying to kill Trump on his Florida golf course. Ryan Routh, 58, was charged on Tuesday with attempted assassination of a political candidate.

Trump’s claim could not be immediately verified. An FBI spokesperson said it had no comment on an ongoing investigation. The agency has previously said it was able to pull some location data from at least two of Routh’s phones. Trump called on Apple to assist the bureau.

US government agencies said last week Iranian hackers sent emails containing stolen material from the Republican former president’s campaign to people involved in Democratic President Joe Biden’s then re-election campaign, part of an alleged broader effort by Tehran to influence the US election.

Iran has denied US claims of interfering in American affairs. Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations in New York did not respond to a request for comment.

Trump said on Wednesday that the United States’ enemies are “desperate” to prevent him from returning to the White House because he will restore the country’s standing in the world.

“This is why people in other countries want to kill me. They’re not happy with me,” Trump said. “It’s a risky business. This is why they want to kill me. They only kill consequential presidents.”

Bobby Lashley Sends Emotional Message to Angelo Dawkins Amid WWE Departure Rumors |

Bobby Lashley Shares Heartfelt Message To Former Partner After WWE Departure

The trio once known as The Pride has had a strange turn on WWE SmackDown in recent months, notably with Bobby Lashley’s absence that has continued for several weeks without his return. The Street Profits, B-Fab, and Bobby Lashley made up the faction, which was created just before Lashley left WWE. Lashley’s departure hasn’t been discussed on television, but the other three members have carried on together.

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley – Arm Wrestling Match: Raw, June 3, 2019

A number of WWE celebrities rejoiced when Angelo Dawkins, off-screen, recently announced the birth of his second kid.Among the people who congratulated Dawkins was Lashley, who addressed him as “fam,” indicating that the two haven’t changed all that much.
Looking ahead, Lashley is expected to reunite with MVP and Shelton Benjamin. The Hurt Business could return under a new name if the trio makes their way to AEW.

Details On Bobby Lashley’s WWE Status

Bobby Lashley’s Manager MVP Shocking AEW Debut | WWE To AEW Returns

Over the weekend, reports surfaced that Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract is nearing its expiration, with the veteran wrestler reportedly removed from the company’s internal roster. PWInsider provided additional updates on Lashley’s status, as well as his former manager, MVP. While WWE has offered Lashley a new contract, the 48-year-old is reportedly not thrilled with the terms and is expected to leave the company.
MVP’s contract is also set to expire in mid-August, and there have been no “major discussions” about renewing his deal. Although there were earlier talks of MVP transitioning into an announcer or producer role, none of those plans came to fruition.
Both Lashley and MVP are expected to attract interest from outside promotions once they leave WWE. The two were significant members of The Hurt Business, a fan-favorite WWE faction many believed was disbanded too soon. There’s speculation that the group could reunite under a different name in another promotion, such as AEW. Although WWE owns the rights to The Hurt Business name, nothing would prevent AEW from reviving the group under a new title. The faction also included Shelton Benjamin, who was released from his WWE contract last year, and Cedric Alexander, who remains with the company.
PWInsider’s report differs from Fightful’s in one aspect, stating that Lashley is still listed on WWE’s internal SmackDown roster. However, Lashley has not appeared on television since April, nor has he accompanied the Street Profits during their recent SmackDown segments. Lashley had been working alongside the Street Profits in a trio called The Pride, which was formed in 2023.

‘October 7 All Over Again’: Netanyahu Snubs, Israeli Ministers Reject US, France-Backed Lebanon Peace Plan

Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his army to keep fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon ignoring the US-France-backed truce plea while his two of his top ministers rejected the deal entirely.

Two top Israeli ministers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition government on Thursday rejected a proposal for a ceasefire in Lebanon and called for continuing the fight against Hezbollah.

The United States, European Union and other allies including several Arab states issued a joint call for a 21-day halt in fighting in Lebanon after Israeli air strikes on Iran-backed Hezbollah killed hundreds and displaced tens of thousands in Lebanon this week.

The rejection of the temporary truce proposal comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ignored the proposal and called on his army to keep fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday his government had not responded to a push by the United States and its allies for a 21-day ceasefire in Israel’s fight with Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.

“It is an American-French proposal, which the prime minister has not even responded to,” said a statement from Netanyahu’s office, adding that he had ordered the army “to continue the fighting with full force”.

The top ministers who rejected the proposal are Israel Katz, the foreign minister and Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a key member of the cabinet.

Smotrich insisted that continuing the war against Hezbollah was the only way forward.

Netanyahu’s coalition relies on the support of Smotrich and other far-right members who consistently also opposed a truce in the Gaza war, which has not stopped.

“The campaign in the north should end with a single result: crushing Hezbollah and elimination of its ability to harm the residents of the north,” Smotrich said on social media platform X.

“The enemy must not be given time to recover from the heavy blows it has suffered and reorganise itself to continue the war after 21 days,” he said.

“Hezbollah’s surrender or war — this is the only way to bring back the residents and security to the north and the country.”

In a separate statement on X, Foreign Minister Israel Katz also opposed any halt to fighting.

“There will be no ceasefire in the north. We will continue to fight against the Hezbollah terrorist organisation with all our strength until victory and the safe return of the residents of the north to their homes,” Katz said, referring to tens of thousands who have been displaced by nearly a year of cross-border clashes which escalated this week.

According to her family, the child, Safia Pathan, had accidently swallowed a sharp pin a few days earlier, which caused her severe stomach pain. After failed home remedies, the girl was taken to Dr Malikendra Patel who removed the pin using endoscopy

A nine-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa got a new lease of life this week when a doctor successfully removed a pin struck in her stomach, that too without surgery. According to her family, the child, Safia Pathan, had accidently swallowed a sharp pin a few days earlier, which caused her severe stomach pain. The family sought help from several doctors and tried various home remedies, but to no avail.

The family initially tried remedies such as feeding her bananas and giving her medicines to clear the stomach. However, when the pin failed to pass, they decided to take Safia to a doctor.

Family members stated that multiple doctors attempted to remove the pin with medicine, but were unsuccessful. The doctors they consulted suggested that the pin could only be removed through surgery.

However, Dr Malikendra Patel at the Ipsa Endoscopy Center managed to remove the pin using endoscopy. “The pin had lodged itself in the pylorus, with only the top pearl visible. It was successfully removed through endoscopy after making the girl unconscious. Due to the sharpness of the pin, extra care had to be taken to prevent further injury,” Dr Patel said.

The girl’s family told Local18 that after various failed attempts, they were amazed when the doctor in Khandwa was able to remove the pin without surgery. “We did not think anyone here could do this,” the family said.

Speaking to Local18, Dr Patel explained, “A nine-year-old girl came to me complaining of stomach pain and brought 4-5 X-rays, in which the safety pin was clearly visible… She was admitted to our hospital and I recommended an endoscopy. Using the telescope method, we carefully removed the 4-cm pin without surgery. It required extreme caution due to the sharpness of the pin.”

Federal indictment targets Adams for receiving illegal foreign donations, bypassing regulations, and corruption linked to his inner circle.

FBI agents entered the official residence of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and seized his phone early Thursday morning, hours before an indictment detailing criminal charges against the Democrat was expected to be made public.

Adams was indicted by a grand jury on federal criminal charges that remain sealed, according to two people familiar with the matter who spoke with The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

“Federal agents appeared this morning at Gracie Mansion in an effort to create a spectacle (again) and take Mayor Adams phone (again),” Adams’ lawyer, Alex Spiro, said in a statement, adding that the mayor had not been arrested. “They send a dozen agents to pick up a phone when we would have happily turned it in.”

Federal law enforcement agents were seen entering the mayor’s Manhattan residence at dawn Wednesday, with several vehicles bearing federal law enforcement placards parked outside.

The US attorney’s office in Manhattan has declined to comment on the investigation. An FBI spokesperson declined to comment. A spokesperson for the mayor did not immediately respond to questions Thursday morning.

In a video speech released Wednesday night, Adams vowed to fights any charges against him, claiming he had been made a “target” in a case “based on lies.”

“I will fight these injustices with every ounce of my strength and my spirit,” he said.

It was not immediately clear what laws Adams is accused of breaking or when he might have to appear in court.

The indictment caps off an extraordinary few weeks in New York City, as federal investigators have honed in on members of Adams’ inner circle, producing a drum-beat of raids, subpoenas and high-level resignations.

Federal prosecutors are believed to be leading multiple, separate inquiries involving Adams and his senior aides, relatives of those aides, campaign fundraising and possible influence peddling of the police and fire departments.

In the last two weeks alone, the city’s police commissioner and head of the school’s system have announced their resignations.

FBI agents had seized Adams’ electronic devices nearly a year ago as part of an investigation focused, at least partly, on campaign contributions and Adams’ interactions with the Turkish government. Because the charges were sealed, it was unknown whether they dealt with those same matters.

In early September, federal investigators seized devices from his police commissioner, schools chancellor, two deputy mayors and other trusted confidantes both in and out of City Hall.

All have denied wrongdoing.

Centre maintains borrowing target, will raise Rs 6.61 lakh crore in second half of FY25

Centre maintains borrowing target, will raise Rs 6.61 lakh crore in second half of FY25

NEW DELHI: The Center on Thursday announced that it has maintained its borrowing goal for the current financial year and will sell bonds worth Rs 6.61 lakh crore between October and March. The borrowing for the second half will be done through bonds with various maturities, ranging from three to 50 years.
This includes the issuance of green bonds worth 200 billion rupees, which will be completed through 21 weekly auctions.
The three-year, five-year, and seven-year bonds will make up a combined 23.50% of the total borrowing, while the 10-year and 15-year bonds will constitute 24.8% and 13.2%, respectively. The 30-year and 40-year bonds will account for 12.1% and 15.9% of the borrowing, and the 50-year bonds will make up 10.6%.
“Out of Gross Market borrowing of Rs 14.01 lakh crore budgeted for 2024-25, Rs 6.61 lakh crore (47.2 per cent) is planned to be borrowed in H2 through issuance of dated securities, including Rs 20,000 crore of Sovereign Green Bonds (SGrBs),” the finance ministry said.
The government will carry out switching/buyback of securities to smoothen the redemption profile, it said. It will also maintain the right to exercise the greenshoe option, allowing it to retain an additional subscription of up to Rs 2,000 crore against each of the securities specified in the auction notifications.
Meanwhile, weekly borrowing through the issuance of Treasury Bills is expected to be Rs 19,000 crore for 13 weeks in the third quarter of 2024-25, with the issuance of Rs 7,000 crore under 91 dated treasury bills (DTBs), Rs 6,000 crore under 182 DTBs, and Rs 6,000 crore under 364 DTBs.
To address temporary mismatches in government accounts, the Reserve Bank of India has set the Ways and Means Advances (WMA) limit for the second half of FY 2024-25 at Rs 50,000 crore.
Additionally, the government has already raised Rs 7.4 lakh crore, which constitutes 52.8 per cent of the total estimated gross market borrowing of Rs 14.01 lakh crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, in the first half of the year.
Earlier, the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had initially proposed a gross borrowing of Rs 14.13 lakh crore through the issuance of dated securities to address the revenue shortfall in the upcoming financial year in the interim budget. However, in the final Budget presented in July, she reduced the gross borrowing estimate by Rs 12,000 crore, attributing it to strong revenue collection.
The gross borrowing for FY25 is lower compared to the previous year’s estimate of Rs 15.43 lakh crore, which was the highest ever recorded.
“The gross and net market borrowings through dated securities during 2024-25 are estimated at Rs 14.01 lakh crore and Rs 11.63 lakh crore respectively. Both will be less than that in 2023-24,” said Sitharaman.

DAVV MBA second sem exam starts

DAVV MBA second sem exam starts

Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) commenced the last examination of 2023 with MBA second semester exams on Thursday. With the conclusion of this exam cycle, the university has set ambitious goals to address delays in the examination schedule and evaluation process, aiming for a smoother and timely academic year ahead.
In a significant move to prevent mishaps like the previous paper leaks, DAVV delivered question papers to the examination centres just an hour before the exam began, rather than the day prior. The MBA second semester exams were held from 11am to 2pm with the question papers being dispatched at 10am on the exam day.
To bolster examination oversight, the number of flying squads has been increased from 4 to 6. Around 7,000 students, including those who received ATKT (Allowed to Keep Terms) in their first semester, are appearing for the exam. Originally scheduled for September 12, the exam was postponed following student protests over insufficient preparation time between the first-sem results and the second-sem exams.
“With this last exam, we are now focused on bringing the examination calendar on track for the coming academic session,” said Dr Ashesh Tiwari, DAVV examination controller. Learning from the past, DAVV has made extensive efforts to address examination challenges. Earlier this year, the first-semester exams were marred by question paper leaks, resulting in only 30% of students passing. In response, DAVV has introduced new monitoring systems, including observers for the exam centres. The university conducts over 355 examinations annually, serving 258,000 students enrolled in its affiliated colleges.
On the evaluation front, DAVV has also taken significant steps to fast-track results. Alongside affiliated college faculty, 40 professors from UTD (University Teaching Departments) have been assigned the task of evaluating answer sheets, with plans to increase this to 100 evaluators. This shift aims to reduce the delay in results, which often disrupts the academic cycle.
“Although we have approximately 1,100 evaluators, this is the first time we are entrusting the responsibility of evaluation to the faculty of UTD, with the aim of improving the traditional evaluation process. This change will also help ensure that results are delivered on time. We have initially assigned 40 evaluators, and this number will soon be increased to 100,” added Tiwari.
As per the university’s examination calendar, the varsity plans to conduct the first semester exams for MA, MSc, and MCom courses, followed by MBA and BEd exams in October. If there are no legal issues regarding the recognition by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the LLB and BA LLB exams will also be held during this period. Meanwhile, the first-year exams for UG courses like BCom, BA, BSc, and BBA will take place in May 2025.
