Iraq’s Islamic Resistance launched a drone strike on the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in response to Israeli actions in Lebanon and Gaza. The Iran-backed umbrella group of various Iraqi factions took responsibility for the attack, claiming to have launched drones at a “vital target.” Several videos on social media showed smoke rising from the port area following the strike. Israeli military claimed the attack involved two drones, one of which detonated in the city while the other was intercepted.
