The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has linked the assets of controversial YouTuber Elvish Yadav and musician Fazilpuria as part of a major crackdown. The properties are situated in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
Yadav and Fazilpuria were previously questioned by the ED, and their comments are already recorded. Elvish Yadav was previously detained by Noida police for illegally trading snake venom.The ED later filed a complaint under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Previously, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was summoned to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) many times in connection with a money laundering case purportedly related to the rave party event. According to recent reports, Yadav was once again questioned by ED officers at the Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) headquarters. The extensive interview lasted several hours, and a video of him exiting the Lucknow ED office was also made public.
According to sources, officers at the ED zonal office in Lucknow grilled Elvish Yadav for nearly eight hours. The Enforcement Directorate last called the YouTuber in July 2024, alleging that he was involved in a money laundering probe.
According to media sources, during a recent interview in Lucknow, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was asked about his contacts, houses, bank accounts, and other valuables. There are also accusations that during the interview, investigators grabbed his phone to examine photographs, videos, and chat conversations.
The YouTuber is currently facing accusations under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) for allegedly generating criminal proceeds and utilising illicit cash to conduct rave or recreational events. Elvish was arrested in March 2024, but five days later, a local court granted him bail.
