Marvel‘s latest big film ‘Deadpool & Wolverine will’ debut digitally after the movie has very good presales in theaters. The adult-rated sequel to the much-anticipated sequel of the big film, ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Wolverine’, starring rotund Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, will eventually be able to stream or rent on Prime Video and Apple TV+ starting October 1.Fans may also purchase the movie on 4K Blu-ray/DVD on October 22.
The bonus material comes on DVD/Blu-ray and digitally. Some featurettes include “Finding Madonna: Making the Oner,” in which director Shawn Levy and Reynolds discuss making an iconic scene, as well as “Loose Ends: The Legacy Heroes,” where cast and crew discuss some of the surprise cameos made in the film. Additionally, there’s a gag reel full of funny moments for everyone to enjoy.
With the digital release via Prime Video, there are a few added bonus features available, including Deadpool doodles and insider trivia. The Blu-ray disc will be available in a standard or limited edition of the SteelBook version with some custom special artwork. The SteelBook will be released in two forms. One will feature Deadpool on the cover, and the other will have Wolverine featured on the cover.
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ truly blew everyone out of the water this summer by raking up more than $1 billion worldwide, breaking many records, and beating the success of 2019’s *Joker*. Marking the first step into the Disney Marvel Cinematic Universe for X-Men characters from 20th Century Fox, people flocked into theaters to see this film to experience Jackman’s return in the suit again and avoid major spoilers over cameos.
Writing in his review for Variety, film critic Peter DeBruge described the film as irreverent farewell to Fox’s X-Men movies and adds that it is closure for fans after nearly 25 years of Marvel films.
